Photoshop Editing

Photoshop is a very powerful thing. And while I don't use it on too many photos b/c Aperture does most of the editing that I need it to do, Photoshop does come in handy sometimes.

I'm currently finishing up the editing of Lola Simang's photos, and at The Reef, there's a very nice view of the waterfront from the hall we were in. However, when a subject stands by the window, a photographer may have a hard time making sure the subject and the view are properly exposed. I was messing around in photoshop with the burn tool and I think it's awesome.

These are the before and after of the photo I've been messing with. I probably will tweak the 'after' photo even more, I was kind of sloppy with some of the burning in my excitement of being able to bring out the background.

Before: (note the background is so light and the foreground isn't that good either)

After: What do you think?

I'm learning... hehe..
