Personal Updates :)

I thought I should post a quick blog about what I've been up to on a personal level.

William is 16 months now!  The time really flew by so fast!  He makes Fred and me smile and laugh every single day!  He can say a few words now, like "eat", "up", "hi", "spoon", and "applesauce".  He's very friendly and plays well with others.  I think he has like 9 teeth.  It's hard to see into his mouth though because he's not cooperative when it comes to such things LOL!

Baby-led weaning has gone really well.  I totally didn't keep updating along the way ooops!  But... the main gist is, starting at 6 months, I let the baby learn to feed himself and bypassed purees.  He now eats an awesome assortment of food, his palette is much more complex than mine was at age.. 25 LOL!  I'm happy because he eats almost anything!

Some examples are:
Salmon with lemon dill sauce
Chicken with sundried tomatoes and horseradish sauce
Japanese Beef Curry
Shrimp
Lobster
Tilapia
Spinach Feta Omelets
Seaweed
Lots of different types of fruits and veggies
etc etc.

It's pretty awesome!

Also, the other day at a church function, he got on stage in the middle of his Auntie's performance and started dancing.  Oh, but first he made sure to wave to his mommy and daddy.  I almost died of happiness.  I think that's one of my fave mom moments to date.  Now I know what it's like to watch my boy do something and say, "That's my boy up there!"  I was just so proud.

I swear, this dude has traveled more in his 16 months of life than I did in my first 25 years of life!  He's been to Cali twice already hahahaha!  Not to mention,  Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia Beach, and Florida, among others!  What a jetsetter!

So without further ado, here's some pictures my wonderful little family!

I love it when my wedding couples come back for more!  It means a lot and I love catching up with them and seeing what's new in their lives after the wedding!  Well, Michelle + Eric got married back in June and now 5 months later, I get to photograph them with their newest addition - Winston, their oh-so-cute puppy!!  We had a lot of fun in our mini-session together - check out some of my faves below!

But first, here's some faves from their wedding hehe!

Okay now onto the cuteness!

The Baileys: Pennsylvania Maternity Shoot

Oh man it's been a hot minute since I blogged!  It's been a bit crazy around here this past month, moreso with personal life, so I'm going to try to play catch up with blogging!

I wanted to share with you the latest shoot with the Baileys, as Mommy is expected her third child soon!  I remember taking photos of this beautiful family when they were only 3.. now they will be 5 soon!  I can't wait to meet their baby boy in a few weeks :)

Baby Leiarah - Aston PA Family Photography

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending time with Jesily, Aaron, and their firstborn daughter, Leiarah.  She is so precious and I had a great time preserving this joyful time in their lives.  I wish you guys the best as you raise your beautiful baby girl!  Here's a few of my faves!

Tim, Carolina, + Birdie

Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending time with Tim, Carolina, and their golden retriever, Birdie.  We were able to take some shots around their home, and also go to a trail nearby at which Birdie had a blast!

Here's a few of my faves from the shoot!

Nia + Kenneth: Maternity

Here are some of my faves from my session with Nia + Kenneth.  I'm sooo very happy for them!! Kenneth is my cousin who would stay over in the summer during my teenage years... We had a lot of good times growing up and it's just crazy that we're both grown and we're both having BABIES within a month of each other! (I'm 38 weeks and Nia is 34).

I'm thankful that they allowed me to be a part of this amazing time in their lives.  It's been great swapping stories and talking about pregnancy stuff with them.. I can't wait to meet their bundle of joy!!

Oh, one more thing... so... My child's name will be William Anthony.  William is from Fred's full name which is Fredwilliam.  Anthony is a tribute to my nephew Anthony who passed away when he was only 7 years old.  Anthony, Kenneth, and I used to hang out a lot during the summer all those years ago, Anthony was like our little bro (he was 4 years younger than me, and I'm about 4 years younger than Kenneth).  After seeing Kenneth recently at a family get together, I found out he's naming his child Jackson Anthony!!  We sooo didn't plan this, but it just goes to show you how much Anthony meant to us, and I just know our babies are gonna be buddies.. well.. they will be buddies whether they like it or not HAHAHAHA!

Congrats again to Nia and Kenneth - check out some images below!
