Kim + Lester: Wedding

Here are the images from Kim and Lester's wedding!  I have to say, God was smiling upon this couple because in the morning, it was definitely downpouring!  But by the time it was time to do some groom portraits outside, it suddenly cleared up!  Kim was probably one of the most chill brides I've covered, she didn't look the least bit dismayed about watching the rain fall as she got her hair and makeup done.  I think the rain was a blessing in disguise as it seemed that the day would have been a lot hotter if it hadn't rained.. so my pregnant self was very grateful hehe!

Check out the slideshow summary first, then check out my faves below that!  There's so many stories that I want to tell you about that have to go with these images, so I hope you'll indulge me!

Thanks so much to Kim + Lester for allowing me to be a part of your big day!  Especially for sticking with me even when I told you about my little bundle of joy that was coming, and gave you an out if you wanted it hahahaha!  Your trust in me is truly humbling.  Sorry I couldn't pull out all of my ninja skills out and hang from trees and stuff, but I am so excited to show you these images.  Your day was amazing and I pray that God will continue to shower His many blessings upon you, just as He did on your wedding day!

Check out my faves below!

These groomsmen were a riot hehe!!

So... all of the bridesmaids play on a volleyball team together - and I have to say they were definitely some of the most on-time and most athletic bridesmaids I've encountered hehehehe!

So the story behind this image below is that.. Lester HATES being in the spotlight.  But out of nowhere, he gets up and starts serenading his beautiful bride...

 ..... to tears :)

These bridesmaids traveled from far away to be with their friend on her wedding day.  So this is the last in-person hug for a while.

Believe it or not, this was taken in front of a water fountain lol!
Hey - wherever there's light, that's where we're going lol!

One of my fave shots from the wedding :)  The bride says it's hers too :))

Teaser: Northeast Shootout #1 - Melissa + Reagan

I will tell you more about the shoot that I put together in the full blog, but basically, I put together a collaboration between photographers, a makeup artist, florist, and a married couple to shoot a Rock the Dress session around Baltimore Inner Harbor.  I am dubbing it the Northeast Shootout!

It was so much fun and I got to meet so many great people!

Here's a teaser!!  This really just scratches the surface... but I'm off to Virginia later today for a family session so I wanted to post this up before I head out!!

Thanks Melissa + Reagan for being such awesome models!

Wedding: Edith + Johnny

Here are the images from my last wedding of the year - Edith + Johnny!

I first shared the reunion of Edith and Johnny back in August, and after a couple of months of patiently waiting, the day finally came for them to become one before the sight of God.

I'm excited to show these because it's the first time we've gotten to go out and about after a reception!  We basically drove around Philly for a bit and stopped whenever we saw something cool :)  Edith and Johnny were up for anything and I was lovin' it!!

Hope you all like the images, I'm kind of in wedding withdrawal now until next year, but it's okay!  Congrats again to Edith and Johnny on your marriage and your beautiful wedding - some things are worth the wait!

Here are some of my faves.. it was kind of hard to narrow it down though lol!

I love this image of Edith.  The light was just so awesome.

Gorgeous!

Johnny was so excited to see his bride during the First Look, that he literally RAN up to her.  He started in the grass though so that his shoes wouldn't be so noisy lol.  I didn't realize it was him at first .. my first thought was, who's this person running in a tux HAHAHAHAHA!   First looks are AWESOME!!  As a result, the rest of our day was pretty relaxed, we just took a few entourage images between ceremony and reception :)

 Here's the handsome groom!!

Details.. you know how much I LOVE details.

Even though Johnny is Puerto Rican, he did karaoke of a Filipino song for Edith.  I'm half filipino myself but I could NOT for the life of me pronounce anything near as well as Johnny did!

AHHHH BALLOON FIGHT!!!
This couple knew how to work it yo!
Oooo random bridge - let's stop and take a pic!

I'm always striving to try something new.
To me, this is something different I've thrown into the mix - hehe!

We had so much fun with the wheelbarrow hahahaha!

 And last but not least....

Please do leave some love for the lovely couple (and their photographer hehehe) :)

Love,
Tasha
