Noah's 5th Birthday!!!

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of taking some portraits of the Smith & Sweeney Family.  Amongst those portraits were some for Noah's 5th Birthday.  I wanted to share a few with you, he is definitely turning out to be a handsome young man!! And also one of his cute little sister, Karyanna.  Enjoy!!

Karyanna Turns 1!

So, I wanted to share more photos of Karyanna turning 1!  It was really so much fun.  I really love your kiddies, Julie.  It's fun being a family's 'go-to' photographer.. because I get to document them as they grow up :)  I miss Noah and Karyanna already, I want to hug them and pinch their cheeks - I hope that I will get to see them again soon!!

Julie had this awesome idea of bringing a mini cake onto the set.. and letting the kids go at it.  You will see the results below.  Hope you like all the pictures.. Thanks Julie and family for an awesome shoot!

Teaser: Karyanna Turns 1!

HELLO!!

So, last Saturday, I had the opportunity to once again take family portraits for Julie and her wonderful kiddies, Noah and Karyanna!  This time, it was to document Karyanna because in less than 2 weeks, she will turn 1 year old!! WOW time really flies!! She actually has the same birthday as my hubby!  The last time I saw her was just 2 months ago, and so much has changed in such a short time!  For one, she has way more teeth now hahaha! And secondly, she can walk!!! More like, walk/run/fall down - it's sooo cute!

These pictures were all taken in or around Julie's home.  We actually set up a little studio in her home, first using available furniture and then later on using a white background.

Here are some teasers.. it was so hard to choose, but there's some crazy/fun ones I want to save for later.. You will get a clue as to what is to come when you look at the cake picture below [evil laugh].. 

But Julie, as usual, it was a pleasure taking pictures of you and your family, and I look forward to documenting your children as they grow!!

Julie, Noah & Karyanna: Outdoor Photos & Slideshow

Two Sundays ago, I was able to do the outdoor photo session with Julie and her wonderful kids, Noah & Karyanna.  I hope you like the pictures.  I also asked Julie for a song that depicts how she feels about her two children.  She picked Dixie Chicks - Lullaby.  After listening to it, I thought it was the perfect song for her slideshow.

Just from watching Julie interact with her children.. it wasn't hard to capture the love she feels for them.  The bond is just so natural.  A lot of pictures, especially with Noah, I just used the zoom lens and observed from a distance. Thanks Julie for showing me how it feels to be a mother. You are so blessed, and your children are so lucky to have such a loving mom.
