2009.11.07 Apartment Warming & Other Thoughts

So last Saturday was me and Fred's apartment warming! We really felt the love from everyone.. the apartment was at capacity the whole day lol. Thank goodness we had a place for overflow - our balcony game table hehe :) I had a lot of fun, and I really felt like a party host b/c I cooked ALL the food! I hear I have really good ribs (thanks to my parents for the recipe) and good beefsteak (bistek) as well. I'm happy I learned SOMETHING in my year here in Cali, phew!

Oh yeah, in other news.. life is pretty cool right now.. I have no complaints.. I feel like I have peace of mind and I'm very thankful to God for that. I'm just trying to do my best in the duties I have.. I recently decided to become a Buklod officer and the organization here in Long Beach is really awesome.. so I've been having a lot of fun. The apartment life is pretty cool, it's nice to be able to make a place your own hehe.. Organing is a lot of fun too, and I will be starting to teach my first organist trainee this Saturday so that's cool. So yeah, every day I can't help but smile. Thank You God for everything :)
