Hey everyone!
So the other day, I called my parents up to schedule a dinner with them at my place. Unfortunately, since my dad works early in the AM, he couldn't come over with my mom in the evening since he needs to rest. However, I didn't let that stop me - last night, I brought dinner to THEM hahahah! I packed my pork loin, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and veggies up in my KFC bag to keep them warm (I knew that bag would come in handy one day!) and we set out to my parents' house :)
I unfortunately have no photos of the food, but take my word for it - it was so good, I had no time to take photos HAHAHAHA.
But that is not the purpose of this particular blog - I wanted to tell you about our technology workshop held last night at the parentals' HAHAHAHA.
So.. my parents have cell phones. However, they haven't been able to take full advantage of them. They hadn't programmed any numbers into their phones - every time they need to dial someone, they input it either from memory (my dad) or from a piece of paper that has a list of numbers (my mom). Last night, we decided it was time to change that. We entered their essential numbers into their phone and also showed them how to use SPEED DIAL! How adorable were my parents!
That was only part one though - we had to show them how to fully benefit from their cordless phones as well. You see, they have one cordless upstairs and one downstairs. When the phone rings and they answer it downstairs, they didn't know how to send the call to upstairs.. so if the call was for someone who was upstairs, that person either had to run down the stairs to get the phone or the person who answered had to bring it upstairs to the person whom the call is for..
My poor parents. At least it's good exercise! They failed to mention this until now.. imagine.. I've been back on the east coast for like 8 months but they happened to mention it now hehehehe! Better late than never!
So, we taught them how to TRANSFER the call from one cordless to the other. And from this experience came the below photos. Yay for technology!!
My mommy is so funny hehehe!
