Today we worshipped in Oklahoma City. I got to meet a friend from facebook, and also saw some old friends from a few years ago. OKC was definitely a welcoming congregation. I was very inspired after hearing the stories of brethren from there. One family travels 1.5 hours to church every time, and are active officers! God is so good.. even though distance may separate those who are a part of that locale, you can feel how close and strong the brotherhood is. I'm glad I got to experience that feeling there!
Around noon we set out go travel from OKC to Rolla, Missouri. Oklahoma was killing us with all the random tolls... almost as bad as NJ hahaha. We saw a cool McDonald's built over the highway.. you eat right above the highway..
Eventually we ended up in Missouri and noticed a substantial increase in.. people.. cars.. on the road. And more houses and civilization. Everything still spread apart, but not 50 miles apart like in Oklahoma hahaha. We saw a sign for Fantastic Caverns, which is a set of caves underground.. so we decided to go see what it was all about. Beautiful.. interesting.. amazing.. those are the words to describe my first cave experience.
Now we're in Rolla, Missouri. For dinner we ate at a place called Wasabi / Mottomo. It's been fun talking to the waitresses .. we always end up telling them about our road trip and they suggest more places for us to visit. So if we get to visit all these places, tomorrow's blog is gonna more interesting hahahaha.
Okay we have to wake up early, so goodnite for now! Just a few more days til Philly!
caves look so awesome:D
